    INCARCERATED

Have you ever known someone incarcerated?

Have you ever been incarcerated?

Maybe a close relative like a Mother, Father, Sister, Brother or even Spouse.

On the other hand, maybe just a friend of a friend of a friend!

Either way this person has a need for Jesus Christ regardless of the crime they committed.

If Jesus Christ forgave them who are we or you to not share the Word of God with them?

What about the people who are innocent but know one believes in them and they have lost  their will to fight.

How about a person convicted of murder but they have a fear of going back to county jail and being confined in the county jail system, which is much more mental torture then prison. Therefore, they do not file the paperwork needed to maybe be released.  They sit in prison day to day with a fear. A fear that God did not give them.

What about the person who has been incarcerated over ten (10) years only to be released on the eleventh year because they really were innocent.

What about the person who is guilty and everyday they wish they had done things different. However, it is too late to change things they have to live with being incarcerated for life, actually dying in prison.

What about the person with terminal cancer who could get a compassionate release if their was someone in the free world who would be supportive of the person to help them upon release. A person who was sentenced to two (2) years but given only one (1) year to live by the doctors. What happens when the prison cannot contact anyone, no one writes him or her so they die? No one cares.

What about the person who just does not care they are running crazy doing everything in prison getting in all types of trouble? Maybe they feel they have messed up so bad and no one cares. Why do they think no one cares, because they do not receive any mail?

My point is regardless of the crime or the time. We as believers in Jesus Christ should extend ourselves to write and encourage those incarcerated.

If you know of someone incarcerated but you do not want to write them for whatever reason go to the “Contact Us” page in this website provide their information and we will send them monthly encouragement cards and letters.
