Our Mission Statement

  DOCTRINE

Our goal is to spread the Word of God!!!!

A good church is correct in these areas:

  • Bibliology -  beliefs about the Bible
  • Theology   -  beliefs about God
  • Christology – beliefs about Christ
  • Soteriology – beliefs about Salvation
  • Pneumatology – beliefs about the Spirit
  • Ecclesiology – beliefs about the Church
  • Eschatology – beliefs about the End Times

WE BELIEVE

BibliologyAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work (2 Tim. 3:16-17). The Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant word of God.

TheologyWe are told in 1 John 1:5 that “God is light.” This is a reference to His absolute holiness. The words “God is love” in 1 John 4:8 explain the reason He gives of Himself  for the welfare of His creatures. And the declaration in Hebrews 12:29 that “our God is a consuming fire” reveals him as One who punishes the evildoer. Recognizing His holiness as well as His love. Also acknowledging His hatred and judgment of sin as well as His pleasure of righteousness. Presenting the whole truth is mentioning God's wrath. He is the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit-three distinct Persons yet one God. The Son, Jesus  Christ, is God. The Holy Spirit is God. And each of these members of the Trinity is a person. They are equal in power and knowledge. yet they are so unified in their essence that they are not three gods but one god.

ChristologyThe Bible teaches that Christ is truly God and truly man. The deity of Christ, for example, is explicitly stated in the opening verse of the gospel of  John: “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (Jn.1:1). Jesus is not only God, He is also man (Philippians 2:5-8). Christ is the sinless One, died on the cross for sinners. “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures . . . He was buried, and . . . He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. Believing in His deity, His humanity, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His atoning death, His resurrection from the dead, and His personal coming again.

SoteriologyThe message of salvation by grace through faith in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).  Salvation by grace completely apart from human effort – we are not denying the importance of baptism, church attendance, or living a good life in obedience to the commands found in God's Word.

Pneumatology – The Holy Spirit is a Person. He is God. And since He is God, He is also co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son.

EcclesiologyThe Word church might refer to either the invisible church or to a local assembly of believers. When speaking about the invisible church I have in mind the body of Christ, which consists of all who have received him as Savior, regardless of color, race, standing, or denominational label. It’s one true church.

EschatologyThe Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is coming again. When He does, we shall see the complete unfolding of God's great plan of the ages. Then at the name of Jesus every knee will bow and every tongue will “confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Phil.2:11). At His coming again, we shall behold him and enjoy, the presence of our Savior, our Redeemer and King, the Lord Jesus Christ – forever!
